I learned a lot and even got a few good images.

In the end, I removed all the images where the flash did not fire.
There simply was too much noise in the images.

Shooting indoors also required a very large aperture, so the depth of field was very small.

The lack of light also wreaked havoc with the autofocus, so some images that looked
good on a small screen were acutally out of focus.
